Business Consultant

Competencies:               

• 7 years of energy and/or utility industry related product and service management experience or management consulting experience
• Experience with AMI's, MDM Systems, billing systems, communications technology
• Strong technology system aptitude and experience working with large technology systems
• Sound understanding of AMI data collection, processing and billing processes and technology, meter to cash
• Understanding of billing data and validation and estimation processes
• Utility knowledge an asset
• Understanding of laws and regulations related to meters and meter data
• Demonstrated knowledge of meter data, collections, payments and billing best practices
• Demonstrated experience in performance measurement and quality monitoring
• Strong analytical and data management skills
• Large volume operational experience and process reengineering skills
• Knowledge of audit processes and operational and technological governance and compliance management systems
• Superior and demonstrated customer service skills
• Demonstrated conflict and problem-solving skills (i.e. to resolve complex customer, process and technology related issues)
• Strong stakeholder and engagement skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% as needed

Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment
