Skillset and experience
Mandatory:
- Strong experience in Business development, investigating new markets, generating new leads, building long-term relationships for long-sales cycle business, closing new agreements and projects.
- Coming from a technology industry in which you advise on complex solutions (sensors, software, and services) to enable organizations to improve their daily operations and long-term performances.
- Experience in an international environment, dealing with various stakeholders (C-level, funding organizations, public organizations, politicians, etc.)
- Fluent English and French skills are mandatory.
- Driving license.
- Flexibility to travel across Africa (>50%).
Preferred:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in technology or business administration.
- Experience dealing with Utilities sector (Grid Management, Water Efficiency), municipalities, government entities and private sectors.
- Experience with public tenders.
- Outstanding ability to convince others and to maintain effective business network.
- Excellent team-spirit and communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
