Field Technician

Experience: 

• One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience including HVAC.
• Electrician and HVAC Journeyman license (both are preferred; will consider if you possess one or the other)
• Experience in the installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of networking devices.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN topologies, cabling standards and components including installation and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with basic computer software to include basic TCP/IP protocols and using mobile devices.
• Ability to climb ladders, stretch, pull and lift up to 65 lbs. in an outdoors working environment

Education: Associate's degree from two-year College or technical school or equivalent experience.

Certification(s): Drivers license

Travel: daily travel to client sites

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel small and medium sized components. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and to lift weight or exert force up to 65 pounds. The employee in this position works in an environment where there is a risk of electrical shock, and there is vibration. The employee may be required to work near moving mechanical parts or outdoor weather conditions.
