Preferred skillset and experience:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Engineering, supply chain management, business, logistics or in a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of global commodity management experience with deep understanding of component manufacturing processes.
- Experience managing mechanical suppliers and contract manufacturers.
- Knowledge of different mechanical materials, suppliers, and market trends in Europe.
- Strong negotiation and project management skills, capability to work with cross functional teams.
- Confidently works well under pressure with strong time management disciplines.
- Ability to analyze data, draw reasonable conclusions, make recommendations on sourcing, and communicate complex analysis to all levels of the organization, including executive levels.
- Fluent English language skills is a must have. Italian or German language skills would be a plus.
- Willingness to travel within Europe.
