You have:

  • Experience developing commercial approaches for new solutions, supporting complex B2B technology sales, consulting on relevant industry areas, or other relevant experience
  • Advanced/expert proficiency in Excel, including building pricing models that enable scale by artfully making the complex simple
  • Deep subject matter knowledge in some of the following areas: performance-based pricing; value-based pricing; risk mitigation through commercial and contractual approaches; partnership and deal pursuit strategies.
  • A good way with people—you like to collaborate, know when to push and when to back off, and can move people in the right direction even if you don’t have the “biggest title in the room”
  • Strong analytic background, able to think deeply about commercial, technical, and legal aspects of our technology offering
  • Proven ability to drive projects to completion within tight deadlines across cross functional teams and through uncertainty
  • An entrepreneurial attitude: self-starter, well organized, flexible, and motivated to grow Itron’s business
  • Strong and flexible communication skills, able to communicate with both a technical and commercial audience interchangeably
  • Moderate proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience using and/or deploying B2B pricing tools preferred
  • An undergraduate degree (required); MBA is a plus

 

Travel: 1-10%

 Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
