Intern - Machine Learning Engineer (Summer 2023)
Required Skills & Experience
Education: Enrolled in a related accredited bachelor’s degree program and completion of at least two years college coursework (preference: statistics, data science, software engineer)
- Ability to code in Python at an intermediate level
- Experience with statistical methods and data analysis
- Exposure to machine learning via classes, independent projects or work experience
- Professional workplace communication skills
- Available to work 40 hours per week, for 10 weeks during summer 2023 (target start May/June, internship concludes August/September, depending on student academic schedule)
- Available to work hybrid schedule, 2-3 days in office at Itron headquarters in Liberty Lake, WA, and flexibility to work remote
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Related internship or work experience
- Enrolled in a related master’s degree program (preference: statistics, data science, software engineer)
- Understanding of power systems
The successful candidate’s starting wage will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience.
Washington State: The base hourly wage is state minimum – $34.62
