Intern - Software Engineer (Summer 2023)
Education: Enrolled in a related degree or training program (Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred) with completion of at least two years of college courses.
Experience: 0-2 years. Previous internship or co/op experience is preferred.
Required Skills & Experience
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
- Programming experience in C#
- Working knowledge of databases
- Working knowledge of version control systems (ideally Git)
- Strong documentation skills
- Professional workplace communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a group
- Available ~40 hours/week, summer 2023, to work hybrid schedule, on-site in Liberty Lake, WA with flexibility to work remote too
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Knowledge of standard enterprise level software development life cycles
- Work with relational databases like SQL Server or PostgreSQL
Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience.
Washington State: The base wage is state minimum per hour - $34.62. This position is also eligible for paid vacation, 401k matching, employee stock purchase program, hybrid work schedule, and more!
