Intern - Technical Trainer (January 2024)

Required Skills & Experience

• Education: enrolled in an accredited and related degree program with completion of at least two years of college-level coursework (preference for Training, Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Technical Communications, Writing, Communications, English)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Professional workplace communication skills, including ability to communicate with stakeholders globally and present training information
• Excellent, clear, clean, accessible writing; obsessive attention for consistency and technical accuracy
• A positive attitude, willing to jump in and tackle new challenges.
• Available to dedicate time to this internship through end of Summer 2024, or longer
• Able to work under a hybrid model, with dedicated days on-site at Itron Raleigh

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience training and leading others
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders both internally and externally
• Knowledge of MadCap Flare
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps
