This HR Data Analyst will play a strategic part in fulfilling this goal of delivering people analytics to the rest of the business. You will be responsible for strategic analytics initiatives, people research, and metrics delivery. You solve essential business and HR challenges around attracting, developing, retaining, and motivating the best talent. You focus on key issues such as predicting great hires or employees at risk of leaving, and supporting our company’s employee engagement and diversity and inclusion goals and objectives.

This role will be responsible for:
  • Bring together our organization’s data, as well as external data and research, to help our business leaders understand and act on people issues.
  • translating data and insights into meaningful visualizations and stories to drive strategy, action, and decision-making at executive levels, within HR, and with people managers.
  • Lead data-driven and evidence-based research to support delivery of people metrics, reporting, and advanced and predictive analytics.  Including:

    • Utilizing excel, power point and other business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, MS Power BI) and data frameworks, HR query tools, and SQL

  • Utilizing platforms, programming, and systems to establish single-source data to be leveraged across the business to support insights and improved decision-making. Including:

    • Analyzing large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns

    • Presenting information using data visualization techniques data mining

  • Leading data-driven and evidence-based research to support delivery of people metrics, reporting, and advanced and predictive analytics. Including:

    • Utilizing business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, power bi) and data frameworks

  • Collaborate with and communicate broadly within the people analytics team, HR, IT, and the business to expand our data universe and publish analyses.



The successful candidate will evidence:

  •  5+ years experience as a Data Analyst in an HR field where research and quantitative methods have direct applicability to people research in organizations
  • Experience in research design, visualization techniques, and analysis approaches in which you manage and analyze both structured and unstructured data.

  • Experience in advanced statistical methods
  • Experience with tools and languages such as SQL, R, Python, or Tableau and in the design and implementation of data pipelines that support the continuous delivery of insight.

  • Analytical mind and business acumen/Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data

  • Ability to work within a larger HR Team as well as across other functions
