Senior Java Developer

Skills Required

• Solid knowledge in core Java programming, including Spring
• Experience in the design, implementation of distributed multi-tier systems
• Familiarity with scalability and performance challenges
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies
• Relational databases, SQL
• Messaging / integration protocols (JMS, SOAP, REST, XML)
• Test driven development and general exposure to software quality tools (like TestNG, Mockito, PowerMock, Sonar, Jenkins)
• Overall 5+ years of related professional experience
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in related field
• Fluent English

Skills Preferred

• Familiarity with network protocols and programming (IPv6, UDP, TCP/IP, DNS, Protocol Buffers)
• Any IoT experience (HiveMQ, MQTT), cloud (Azure, microservices)

Selection process

1. an initial 30-60 minutes long discussion with a recruiter giving you more background on the firm, the position whilst discussing your background and expectations
2. a 60-90 minutes long professional interview in person with the local technical team to understand your professional background
3. a 40-60 minutes long skype interview with the remote team members, focusing on your technical skills
4. a final 60 minutes long interpersonal interview with local management and HR to get to know you in person and to show you around the office
