Sr Hardware Design Engineer
Qualifications:
Willingness and ability to work in a team environment, to accept direction from others, to take responsibility for successful completion of tasks, and to learn from more experienced engineers.
Experience or education in analog and digital circuit design, microprocessors and microcontrollers, RF communication systems, network systems, sensor networks, circuit troubleshooting, board-level debugging, project planning, etc.
Experience using laboratory equipment including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, emulators, debuggers, protocol analyzers, etc. for debug and testing of embedded systems.
Experience designing power supplies a plus.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively. Ability to write clear and professional documentation.
Understanding of the product development lifecycle.
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and to become proficient with new devices, tools, processes, etc.
Experience: This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in Hardware Design, however 10 years is highly preferred. Additional experience designing products around FCC regulations desired.
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering required, an advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering preferred.
Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
