Experience: This position requires a minimum of 5 years of RF or mixed RF product functional test system development.
  • minimum 2 years' experience developing manufacturing test software using programming languages such as C or C# using the Microsoft .NET environment. Demonstrated experience in production test application programming.
  • High volume RF product test experience.
  • Working level knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
  • Proven track record of developing test and integrated manufacturing plans based on engineering specifications, product marketing documents, design reviews, and presentations.
  • Proven ability to lead, grow and develop in a fast-paced manufacturing test development and engineering team.
  • Experience with lab/test equipment such as Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer, RF and Cellular communications simulators and analyzers.
  • Familiarity with database development and maintenance.
  • Experience with Linux-based systems, including writing Linux shell scripts.
  • Experience managing software releases and change management using an enterprise version control/management software repository system.
  • Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Must have ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated: recognize opportunities and potential problems and proactively take action. Able to lead, influence, provide training to peers and manufacturing teams, demonstrate initiative, and take appropriate risks.
  • Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to international manufacturing sites as needed (1-2 trips per year on average).

Education: BSEE or BSCS with analog and digital systems background. MSEE is preferred.

Travel: 10 - 25%

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel small and medium sized components. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and to lift weight or exert force up to 50 pounds. The employee in this position works in an environment where they may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, there is a risk of electrical shock, and there is vibration. The employee may be required to work with toxic or caustic chemicals, may be subject to higher noise levels, or work near moving mechanical parts.
