Experience: This position requires a minimum of 8 years related experience
- A solid understanding of the OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP networking. IPv6 highly desirable.
- Knowledge of routing and security protocols including BGP, OSPF, Spanning Tree, HSRP, and 802.1Q. VOIP and SIP desirable
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and UDP-based services including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SSH, FTP, SMTP, SNMP, etc
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills, resiliency in the face of continual change, and ability to handle high demands
- Good oral and written English communication skills
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work well with customers
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Travel: 10 - 30%
Physical Demands: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
