Sr. Program Manager- Supply Chain Resiliency

As a Supply Chain Resiliency Senior Program Manager, you will be reporting to Global Operations PMO Director and will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the resilience and agility of our organization's supply chain. This role is critical in ensuring the uninterrupted flow of materials, products, and services through the supply chain in the face of disruptions, such as natural disasters, geopolitical events, or economic fluctuations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and partners to create and maintain resilient supply chain programs. You are expected to be self-directed, strong and driven leader, resourceful to find creative solutions to challenges.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Resiliency Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain resiliency strategy that aligns with the organization's business goals. Identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and develop mitigation plans to address potential disruptions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams within the company, including Product Business Units, Research & Development, Product Marketing, Global Operations: procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and quality control, Finance to implement resiliency measures and foster a culture of preparedness.
  • Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats to the supply chain. Create risk management plans and implement proactive measures to mitigate the impact of disruptions.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key suppliers and partners. Work together with Global Commodity Managers to develop contingency plans, dual sourcing strategies, and alternative supply routes.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and technology to monitor and evaluate the performance of the supply chain. Implement data-driven solutions to improve resiliency and responsiveness.
  • Continuity Planning: Develop and maintain business continuity plans for the supply chain, ensuring that essential operations can continue in the event of a disruption.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and compliance requirements related to supply chain resiliency.
  • Ensure the organization complies with all relevant laws and standards.
  • Technology Integration: Identify and implement technological solutions, such as supply chain visibility tools and automation, to enhance resiliency and improve overall efficiency.
  • Resource Management: Manage a team of multifunctional specialists or analysts, and allocate resources effectively to meet program goals.
  • Communication and Training: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees, suppliers, and partners on resiliency strategies and the importance of preparedness.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • A self-directed individual, overseeing and managing a program (within GO or within other functions) with a high degree of autonomy and independence, expected to take initiative and be self-reliant.
  • A proactive, motivated, and highly organized professional who can take charge of various aspects of a program without constant supervision.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, with a focus on resiliency and risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, and procurement processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and relevant software tools.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Adept at building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and partners.

 

Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
