Technical Support Engineer (.NET Application Support):- 

Exp. required: - 7-10 Yrs 
Job Location: - Bangalore 

Note: - This role would require the candidate to work in mid/evening shifts, so please apply only if you are comfortable with working in shifts.

What will your job look like?

•    You will provide engineering expertise to troubleshoot, modify and engineer software solutions and configurations to ensure the product/solution performs within optimal design specifications.
•    You will investigate, debug and reproduce issues, provide fixes and workarounds and verify changes to ensure continued operability of the software solution.
•    Flexible to work in shifts based on customer need.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

•    Good and intermediate knowledge and hands-on skills on WINDOWS / LINUX Operating system and application product support.
•    Good knowledge on Problem solving and incident management process along with ITIL knowledge.
•    Basic understanding of network monitoring concepts and management tools. Experience of network tools and protocols.
•    Exposure to scripting basics. Experience of scripting (Perl, Bash).
•    Good understanding of any IT Service Management tool to log, monitor, and document the incidents/tickets.    
•    Replicate customer environments and work to identify & fix the root cause or provide interim workaround as needed.
•    Provide advanced technical support and work with customers to solve complex issues with the product in their environment.
•    Min of 6+ years of software development experience in .NET with extensive debugging and troubleshooting.
•    Experience with object-oriented and asynchronous programming patterns & understanding of MVC design patterns and frameworks.    
•    Anyone or more of the following databases Postgresql or RDBMS and basic query writing skills 
•    Basic networking concepts and understanding of different OSI layers.
•    Knowledge of various HTTP headers, cookies, web APIs, web servers, SSL, various protocols.
•    Knowledge of troubleshooting tools such as curl, postman, fiddler, chrome debugger etc.
•    Experience on AZURE is desirable and Experience working in an agile environment.
•    Should have experience in Managing issues and requests logged through Service Now and JIRA
•    Able to debug the code and pinpoint the issue or defect at the LOC level.
•    Good understanding of XML, JSON and RESTful API’s.
•    Good understanding of Windows Server & MS SQL Server concepts is required.
•    Demonstrated development or technical application support skill sets with detailed technical experience with industry standard tools and technologies like .Net / SQL / IIS /Message Queues/ Restful services.
