Principal DevOps Software Engineer
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of Software Engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience with logging, monitoring, and event detection.
- Experience lead, implementing, advising, and advocating for devops infrastructure monitoring best practices.
- Understanding of technical infrastructure, modern application architecture, Kubernetes, Docker, and strong Linux experience.
- Initiative and follow-through on effective project implementation, including clear technical documentation.
- Experience with application clustering, load balancing, high availability, and reliability concepts.
- Comfortable managing and monitoring large-scale infrastructure deployments on-prem or in the Cloud.
- Willingness to debug problems across the stack and take ownership of end-to-end problem resolution.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Expertise in architecting and developing large-scale observability platforms in a cloud-native environment.
- Familiarity with Open telemetry and contributing to open-source codebases.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes container orchestration, service mesh, and service discovery frameworks.
- Experience with GitOps practices for managing applications.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience.
