Senior Systems Engineer

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in automation using Ansible/python/ shell
• 5+ years of experience with one of the guest operating systems, preferably Windows
• 5+ years of experience with VMWare infrastructure
• Must be adept at identifying and eliminating performance bottlenecks and making performance-related recommendations (hardware, software, and configuration)
• Ability to come up with solutions and presentations
• Ability to work independently and drive across internal teams and vendors
• In-depth knowledge of DNS principles and architectures
• Familiarity with security issues and best practices for virtual environments

Desired Skills

• Experience in a major system architecture or VMware or Azure/AWS environment
• Experience in Storage/SAN is a major plus.
• Experience in administration, and developing Kubernetes Infrastructure & defining best practices.
• Ability to lead the infrastructure side of projects
• Knowledge of Sharepoint, Splunk, and Jira a plus
• The ability to think creatively and communicate their ideas effectively
• Ability to mentor & Train others.
